Hair Mesotherapy

Hair Mesotherapy

Hair mesotherapy is an innovative and safe treatment that supports the natural regeneration of hair and the restoration of density.

It can be applied preventively to individuals who show early signs of hair loss, helping strengthen the hair follicles and maintain healthy hair growth.

This is a non-surgical method, originally studied several decades ago by the French physician Pistor and since then has found various applications in the field of aesthetic medicine.

In recent years, however, with the advancement of the technique, studies have demonstrated its beneficial effects against hair loss — particularly in cases of androgenetic alopecia.

Where is it applied

The application of the treatment is suitable for a large percentage of men and women who, after adulthood, experience a gradual decrease in hair density, mainly in the frontal scalp area and the temples.

This type of hair loss may progress on its own or in combination with hereditary Androgenetic Alopecia, during which progressive miniaturization of the hair follicles occurs.

Additionally, various environmental factors accelerate hair aging, such as smoking, sun exposure, and poor diet.

This is where hair mesotherapy is applied, nourishing and strengthening the hair in depth, resulting in healthy and strong hair.

Procedure and action

Hair Mesotherapy is a relatively painless technique through which active nutrients are delivered into the mesoderm, the middle layer of the skin, to strengthen hair growth.

After completing the scalp cleansing protocol, with strict adherence to sterilization standards, a mild topical anesthetic is applied.

Then, by creating micro-injections in the skin, the method allows the transdermal penetration of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidant agents directly into the deeper layers.

Specifically, the treatment aims to deliver rejuvenating components into the dermis.

This creates an environment enriched with vitamins, amino acids, nucleic acids, trace elements, minerals, and enzymes, which promotes interaction between cells and the extracellular matrix.

As a result, the thickness of the hair increases, leading to greater overall density, and the aesthetic appearance of the hairline is improved.

The beneficial ingredients of hair mesotherapy

The ingredients that contribute to scalp health include, for example:

  • Zinc sulfate, which strengthens the structure of the hair.
  • Adenosine, which promotes the expression of growth factors in the hair follicles.
  • Glutathione, which blocks androgen receptors.
  • Pyridoxine hydrochloride, which aids in hair regeneration and protection.
  • Copper peptides, which prevent follicle necrosis, improve microcirculation, and inhibit 5-alpha reductase.
  • Vitamins B6 and E, which enhance blood supply to the follicles.

The selection of the appropriate ingredients is personalized for each individual and depends on the specific needs of their body, scalp, and hair, in combination with diagnostic results and the type of alopecia.

Effectiveness of Hair Mesotherapy

Hair mesotherapy, thanks to the transdermal infusion of active substances, allows them to act directly on the target—the hair follicle. As a result, from the very first sessions, a reduction in hair loss and strengthening of hair growth become noticeable.

However, more than one session is recommended to optimize and maintain the results. To safely evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment, each individual undergoes personalized monitoring.

This is carried out through photographic documentation of the target area before and after the treatment, as well as regular follow-up appointments at 3, 6, and 12 months. In this way, each patient’s medical file includes dynamic data that allow direct comparison and eliminate the possibility of inaccurate assessments.

At Bergmann Kord, the absolute criterion of effectiveness is how successfully the treatment responds to the personalized needs of each individual.
